We are a home boarding establishment, licensed by Kirklees Council to board 6 dogs. Home from home pet boarding allows your pets to bring their own belongings, making it feel familiar whilst they are being cared for. We treat them as if they are our own pets, whilst your away.
I have a great deal of knowledge and experience of dealing with many animals, having been brought up on a working dairy farm, and owning my own animals. I have owned my own dog walking business for 17 years, Hiking Hounds, which I continue to own and run, now with the help of my daughter.
We cater for dogs on a home boarding basis, so the dogs stay in our home. We also cater for rabbits and guinea pigs in our hutches in the dedicated rabbit building, which has been fitted out to suit their needs. Our rabbit hutches, and smaller cages are designed to meet the guidelines set out by the Rabbit Welfare standards, and we are fully insured by an animal business specialist insurance company.

Home Boarding for Dogs
A unique alternative to dog kennels, with your family friend feeling like one of our family whilst they are on their holidays with us. We exercise your dog twice daily in our 'Acres of Fun' field enclosure, unless your requirements are for lead only walks.
Rabbit Stays
Our hutches are specifically designed to allow your family pet to stretch his legs and make use of the enclosed run, even if he decides to bring a friend with him.
Other pet stays and services
We can accommodate your dog into our home or alternatively if you have a cat, we can pop to your house and keep your cat content there. If you have any other furry friends, just as,k as we have a selection of hutches and buildings to cater for all types of needs.
